Group sampling training in Moerdijk: „oneCRONIMET“ in practice

A training focused on the standardization of procedures for sampling (acceptance of scrap) materials took place at the CRONIMET Holland site in Moerdijk (September 22-23, 2025). The training was primarily intended for our samplers/acceptors, and its goal was to share experiences, compare processes across the group, and minimize possible sources of error.

Experiences were exchanged in the areas of material quality, acceptance, and claims in steel millsogether with colleagues from other branches . The practical part focused on sampling turnings, fine fractions, shredder scrap, and other types of scrap. The entire training was conducted in several languages (German, English, Dutch, Polish) and was led by experienced samplers from various countries.

We believe that this event will bring added value not only to our companies in the Czech Republic, but also to the entire CRONIMET group. The joint sharing of know-how and the unification of procedures is another step in the successful story of "oneCRONIMET."
